Here is a gift that can be used by anyone, but would be greatly appreciated by your crunchy or eco-conscience friends. These wool dryer balls save energy by reducing drying time, but what I like best about them is that they’re an all-natural substitute for chemical-laden dryer sheets. (A quick google search will help you find out what chemicals are in dryer sheets and why you would want to switch to these wool dryer balls.)

Ingredients:

3 – 4 Wool Dryer Balls
Young Living starter kit essential oils (lavender is a fave for this)
Gift Packaging (Snowman for a fun gift, pretty gift box for something more formal)

Directions:

For a whimsy way to gift these, wrap 3 wool balls in clear cellophane, tie a ribbon at the top and between each ball, and decorate with markers to look like a snowman.

For more formal gift wrap, place these “snow balls” in a gift container.

Add a few drops of essential oil (like lavender) to one of the sample containers that came with your premium starter kit along with a note. “Add a couple of drops of essential oil to each wool ball and toss into the dryer with your wet laundry.”  Enjoy!

Want to Take This to the Next Level?

Add a spray bottle and a full bottle of essential oil to the gift so the recipient can add water and oils together in the spray bottle and spritz the dryer balls before running the dryer. Some people find this reduces static better than applying straight to the wool dryer balls.

Not Really a DIY Person?

Young Living has wool dryer ball gift set that includes 4 wool dryer balls, a cotton carrying bag, a 5ml bottle of lavender essential oil, and a 5ml bottle of bergamot essential oil.  (item number 35328) You can get yours here.
