Around the holidays, many of us eat foods we don’t regularly eat, and travel much more than we normally do. This can lead to upset stomachs. Today’s tip is not a gift idea, but is something you’ll want to have around when needed. The one oil in your starter kit that I haven’t included in any recipes yet is Digize. Digize is a blend of oils that support the digestive system, and while I’ve had great success using this oil blend, it’s not one I use for anything else (like diffusing) because it’s not my favorite smell. Thankfully, when diluted in a roller and applied to the tummy area, the smell is not overwhelming and the results are worth it!

Ingredients:

Fractionated coconut oil
Digize essential oil blend
Glass roller bottle

Directions:

Add 10 drops of Digize essential oil blend to your empty roller bottle. Add fractionated coconut oil until almost full. Place the roller top and push into place by closing the lid on top. You may be able to simply push it into place, but I find using the lid is easier. Lightly shake the roller bottle to mix the contents. To use, simply apply to the stomach area or the bottoms of the feet as needed.

Want to Take This to the Next Level?

Add a vinyl label to your roller bottle with a Circut or a Cameo machine. Another option – some people prefer to take Digize vitality oil internally instead of applying the blend topically. If you’d like to try this, place 1 – 2 drops of Digize Vitality oil into a vegetable capsule, add an edible carrier oil like coconut oil or olive oil, then close the capsule and take with water. I personally prefer to simply use the digize roller instead. My kids even know to reach for the roller when their tummies are bothering them.

Not Really a DIY Person?

While Digize doesn’t come in a roller straight from Young Living yet, they do sell roller fitment tops (item number 4578), which fit the 5ml and the 15ml essential oil bottles, so you could turn your regular bottle of oil into a roller bottle simply by changing out the top. I’d dilute with a carrier oil if you do so, however. If you already have your premium starter kit, you received two of these roller tops in your kit.  You can get yours here.
